Joining Collibra’s Customer Engineering team

As a Customer Engineer, you are the guiding force behind bringing Collibra's product and vision to customers and prospects. Customer Engineers establish knowledgeable and trusted relationships from day one and serve as thoughtful technical advisors. As a Customer Engineer at Collibra, you will be responsible for the technical relationship with the customer throughout the entire customer journey both pre- and post-sale.
You will fill an essential and highly respected role in the sales organization at Collibra, collaborating and building relationships cross-functionally and across geographies for the larger team’s success.
This is a hybrid role based in our office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.
Customer Engineers at Collibra are responsible for
- Providing timely technical expertise on Collibra's products to customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.
- Creating and maintaining lab environments and playbooks for successful technical demonstrations and evaluations by peers and partners.
- Collaborating with the Product team by giving early product feedback and sharing field observations and customer insights to enhance competitive advantage.
You Have
- 2+ years in a technical customer facing role in enterprise software.
- Working experience in creating and delivering presentations, conveying product messaging, and explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences across various organizations.
- Working experience in installing, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues with enterprise software solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
- You must have work authorization to work in Brussels, BE or Prague, CZ.
You Are
- Proficient in communicating effectively in English and French, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff across internal and external organizations.
- Someone with the ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Someone with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledgeable about use cases, challenges, and technologies in data management, business intelligence, data science, and data analytics.
- Willing to travel up to 15%.
Measures of success
- Within your first month, you will be able to clearly explain the value of the Collibra platform and understand key concepts and terminology related to it.
- Within three months, you will be able to present and demo the Collibra Platform, focusing on architecture and integration, with minimal support.
- Within six months, you will achieve a Collibra certification and be able to explain, present, set up, configure, and troubleshoot Collibra Platform integrations with external systems.
