Presented during Data Citizens ‘20: A Digital Experience, the awards honor data leaders who are helping their organizations unlock the value of data and create meaningful, measurable results by collaborating with Collibra.

Dr. Adrian Pearce, Credit Suisse: Data Citizen of the Year
Dr. Adrian Pearce, Group Chief Data Officer for Credit Suisse, was recognized for his and his team’s efforts to manage data as a valuable asset and using it to improve the effectiveness of data management processes globally across Credit Suisse. In his role, Adrian is focused on the architecture, governance, security and underlying quality of data within the bank. Most recently, the team applied significant focus to the usage and analysis of existing Credit Suisse data to create business value for the company. By integrating Collibra into Credit Suisse’s data strategy, Adrian has increased collaboration across the business and ensured that data is at the core of the organization.

Albert Lalaj, Walmart: Collibra Ranger of the Year
Albert Lalaj, Global Data Governance Lead for Walmart, was recognized as the top Ranger in the Collibra Certified Ranger Program. The Collibra Certified Ranger Program is a training and evaluation program that delivers one of the most comprehensive data certifications available today. Albert has had a key role in bringing the Data Intelligence vision to life at Walmart by aligning capabilities to business challenges, driving adoption across the organization and leading training and education efforts.
Deloitte: Collibra Partner of the Year
For the second consecutive year, Deloitte was recognized for its commitment to helping global clients realize the full potential of their data. A partner since 2015, Deloitte collaborates with Collibra across Europe, North America, Asia and South America. Deloitte has guided clients in enabling data discovery, improving data trust and understanding, simplifying data access, ensuring regulatory compliance and enabling greater collaboration with data. Using Collibra, Deloitte clients in banking and financial services have successfully developed and implemented a central digital platform for the data ecosystem that provides full visibility into data across the organization.

T-Mobile: Data Intelligence Program of the Year
T-Mobile was recognized for building a data-driven culture that fuels the company’s most innovative business strategies. The organization’s Data Intelligence program started with a widely-adopted data catalog and grew to the implementation of the Collibra platform with integrated lineage and data classifications tools. By leveraging Collibra, T-Mobile has organized its data landscape making it easier to discover, understand, manage, govern, and use data.
